Developing a gently spreading habit as it matures, this compact evergreen is the ideal shrub for nearly any landscape application. Its petite foliage emerges without spines in a reddish tint before maturing to a rich green shade and its tiny white blossoms open in spring. in fall, ornamental red fruits develop, adding late-season interest to the landscape. Dwarf Yaupon tolerates drought and salt spray better than most shrubs, making it ideal for dry climates and coastal areas.
